Learning design fails when a course assumes unlimited video and a second screen. Most African Future University learners do not have that. This PGCert starts with prepaid data, shared phones, and print. You will storyboard a module, write bilingual instructions, and design an assessment that can be sat under identity check without a computer lab. The university treats low bandwidth as the default, not as an accessibility afterthought. Digital tools are used when they earn their bytes. French and English pathways are designed as genuine tracks, not machine-translated dumps. The award is a graduate certificate. It is not QTS and not a ministry curriculum appointment. It is for designers who must keep a module honest when the learner’s data bundle ends at 80 MB. You will compare an audio-first sequence with a print pack for the same learning outcome, including French and English as dual construction rather than a dump from a translation engine. Identity-checked exams model the assessment you are designing. QTS is not awarded. Study is tuition-free online aside from the examination fee, over nine months, with prepaid data as the default constraint.

Modules are assessed through a published mix of coursework, applied projects, and examinations. Exam windows are announced in advance so students in other time zones are not forced into overnight sittings. Alternative arrangements are available where documented.
The published duration is 9 months. Teaching language: English + French assessment options. Actual time-to-complete depends on mode and any recognised prior learning.
This is a fully online award. You study from your country. No student visa and no campus relocation are required.
