Trade integration fails in the stack of paper between a factory gate and a destination warehouse: certificates that do not match HS codes, scanners that are down, and committees that meet after the consignment has spoiled. This programme starts with operations. You map a preferential claim, cost a delay, and distinguish a genuine sanitary control from a rent-seeking stop. English and French assessment options exist because West African and CEMAC paperwork still switch language mid-corridor. African Future University treats AfCFTA as a live legal-administrative system, not a brand. You will study annexes, national schedules, and dispute-settlement pathways as documents you must cite, not as slogans. Digital single-window tools are examined for what they actually capture when connectivity drops—exactly the rural and secondary-border condition most graduates will face. The award is academic. It is not a UN consultancy, not a customs licence, and not employment by any continental institution. It is for logistics managers, chamber staff, and ministry analysts who must keep a preferential claim honest when the scanner is offline. Candidates compare an inland dry-port file with a coastal gateway file so the degree does not collapse into a single postcard of integration. Identity-checked exams and operational memos sit beside the capstone. Marketing must not display AU or AfCFTA Secretariat marks as university partners.
Thirty-six credits across origin and schedules, corridor operations, digital trade administration, and a capstone on a live NTB or rules-of-origin file. Identity-checked exams. No organisational logos are used in teaching materials as marks of affiliation.

Modules are assessed through a published mix of coursework, applied projects, and examinations. Exam windows are announced in advance so students in other time zones are not forced into overnight sittings. Alternative arrangements are available where documented.
The published duration is 18 months. Teaching language: English + French assessment options. Actual time-to-complete depends on mode and any recognised prior learning.
This is a fully online award. You study from your country. No student visa and no campus relocation are required.
Degree tuition for this award is published as £0 / tuition-free on the online pathway. Examination or administrative fees may apply at checkout — never an annual tuition invoice. Check the Fees page for any extras.
Requirements are grouped on this page (academic, English, documents). Equivalent qualifications are considered. English may be waived after prior English-medium study.
Assessment is typically a mix of coursework, projects, and examinations. Doctoral awards include a thesis or dissertation and an oral examination. Details sit in the programme specification and module outlines.
Recognition of the award for local employment, professional licence, or ministry attestation is decided by your employer or regulator. African Future University publishes verification pages for certificates. We do not claim automatic equivalence in every country.
