LoadingWork the PALOP administrative interface—without claiming automatic Portuguese fluency.
Online only

Lusophone Africa is too often treated as a footnote to Anglophone MBA cases. This MA reverses that. You will read how a company is registered, how a tender file moves, and how a cross-border trader meets PALOP and AfCFTA paperwork at once—without this university claiming you are employed by any community of Portuguese-speaking countries. African Future University is explicit: Portuguese is a professional tool you bring or build; it is not an automatic outcome of enrolment. Assessment in English and French exists because many PALOP officers also file with ECOWAS, SADC, or CEMAC counterparts. Rural and interior administrations are required cases because capital-city consultancies hide the constraint set. The award is academic. It is not a civil-service gazette, not a bar call, and not a language diploma by stealth. It is for people who must keep a PALOP–neighbour file honest when the translation is late and the stamp is missing. You will compare a capital registry file with an interior administration file, including the cost of unofficial translation. Identity-checked exams do not award a Portuguese diploma; language evidence remains a separate requirement you must meet.
Thirty-six credits: PALOP administrative systems, business and procurement interfaces, regional paperwork, and a bilingual file capstone. Identity-checked exams. Portuguese competence is evidenced, not assumed.

Modules are assessed through a published mix of coursework, applied projects, and examinations. Exam windows are announced in advance so students in other time zones are not forced into overnight sittings. Alternative arrangements are available where documented.
The published duration is 18 months. Teaching language: English + French assessment options. Actual time-to-complete depends on mode and any recognised prior learning.
This is a fully online award. You study from your country. No student visa and no campus relocation are required.
Degree tuition for this award is published as £0 / tuition-free on the online pathway. Examination or administrative fees may apply at checkout — never an annual tuition invoice. Check the Fees page for any extras.
Requirements are grouped on this page (academic, English, documents). Equivalent qualifications are considered. English may be waived after prior English-medium study.
Assessment is typically a mix of coursework, projects, and examinations. Doctoral awards include a thesis or dissertation and an oral examination. Details sit in the programme specification and module outlines.
Recognition of the award for local employment, professional licence, or ministry attestation is decided by your employer or regulator. African Future University publishes verification pages for certificates. We do not claim automatic equivalence in every country.
