UCAD and AFU Launch Executive MBA in Bilingual Public Management & Diplomacy for African Civil Services

African governance requires senior administrators who can seamlessly bridge Anglophone and Francophone administrative traditions while leading sovereign digital transformations. In response, AFU and Université Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) have launched the Executive MBA in Bilingual Public Management & Diplomacy.

This executive program delivers modules in public expenditure management, sovereign debt restructuring, multilateral trade treaty negotiation, and digital e-government implementation. All lectures and policy seminars are available in both French and English.

"Strong, transparent public institutions are the bedrock of continental prosperity," said Dr. Aminata Touré, visiting fellow in Public Administration. "This dual Executive MBA equips senior civil servants with modern management tools, ethical leadership frameworks, and bilingual fluency to represent their nations effectively on the global stage."

The program features guest masterclasses by former ambassadors, AU commissioners, and multilateral development bank executives.
