AFU Institute for Sustainable Energy Publishes Comprehensive Study on Decentralized Solar Mini-Grids

A three-year empirical research study published by the African Future University Institute for Sustainable Energy highlights the transformative impact of decentralized clean power for agrarian communities.

Conducted across agricultural hubs in Kenya, Senegal, Ghana, and Rwanda, the study demonstrates that decentralized solar-battery mini-grids reduced post-harvest cold storage spoilage by 62% while tripling local processing capacity.
