AFU School of Health Sciences Expands Pan-African Digital Epidemiology & Telemedicine Network

The School of Health Sciences at African Future University has expanded its digital epidemiology and clinical decision support system, linking healthcare workers in 820 rural clinics to specialist diagnostic guidance.

The platform allows rural nurses and medical officers to log clinical presentations, access peer-reviewed triage algorithms, and consult with volunteer medical faculty in real time, even over low-bandwidth 2G/3G mobile networks.

"Healthcare access must not end where the paved road stops," said Dr. Samuel Osei, Director of Public Health Initiatives at AFU. "Our Master of Public Health curriculum trains practitioners to build resilient primary healthcare systems that serve every community."
