Stellenbosch and AFU Establish Dual BA in International Trade & Corridor Logistics

Africa's economic growth depends on the efficiency of its vital transport corridors—such as the Northern Corridor connecting Mombasa to the Great Lakes, the Central Corridor from Dar es Salaam, and the Walvis Bay Corridor. African Future University and Stellenbosch University have launched the dual BA in International Trade & Corridor Logistics.

The curriculum covers multimodal container tracking, port terminal operations, automated customs declarations, bonded warehousing, and freight forwarding law under the AfCFTA agreement.

"Reducing cargo transit times across African borders is the single most effective way to lower the cost of living for our citizens," noted the Chair of Logistics Studies. "Our dual BA with Stellenbosch produces skilled logistics professionals who understand both the physical transport mechanics and digital customs systems."

Graduates receive two official Bachelor of Arts diplomas and gain access to internships and recruitment pipelines with top continental freight operators.
