African Future University Forges Landmark Dual-Degree Alliances Across 55 African Nations with UCT, Stellenbosch, Wits, and UCAD

African Future University (AFU) has finalized historic academic partnerships with four of the continent's most distinguished research institutions: University of Cape Town (UCT), Stellenbosch University, University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), and Université Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) in Dakar.

This expansive initiative establishes 16 dual-award degree tracks spanning BSc, MSc, MBA, and BA credentials across 55 African Union member states. Under this unified framework, students complete a coordinated 60/40 or 65/35 institutional credit split, earning two independent, fully recognized diplomas upon successful defense of their final project.

"For generations, ambitious African scholars have been told they must migrate abroad or amass crippling debt to acquire premier academic credentials," stated the Vice-Chancellor. "Our dual-award alliances demolish this outdated paradigm. By joining digital pedagogy with the research moderation of Africa's top universities, we ensure that an engineer in Kigali or a civil servant in Bamako can earn world-class double degrees entirely from their home country."

Every dual-award curriculum features synchronized bilingual instructional design in English and French, direct alignment with the African Union Agenda 2063, and an accessible pay-per-exam model that guarantees no student is excluded by upfront tuition costs. Admissions for all 16 tracks are now open for the upcoming academic intakes.
