Academic regulations
Assessment, progression, academic integrity and appeals at African Future University — the public regulations employers and partners ask for.
- 01
Scope
These regulations apply to every credit-bearing award taught fully online by African Future University. They sit under the published terms governed by the law of the Republic of Mauritius. They do not create an African Union, United Nations, or government partnership.
- 02
Assessment
Modules are assessed by written work, oral viva where required, and identity-checked examinations. Mastery checkpoints replace unused lecture hours. Teaching language is stated on the programme specification.
- 03
Progression and awards
Credit, level, and learning outcomes are published in the programme specifications. An award is conferred when the board of examiners confirms that the outcomes have been met.
- 04
Integrity and appeals
Plagiarism, impersonation, and unauthorised assistance are academic offences. Students may appeal on procedure, not on academic judgement, within the published calendar.
